Indoor Bike Trainer Session (Virtual)
Weekly indoor bike trainer sessions as a virtual class via ZOOM from the comfort of your own pain cave at home. These sessions will generally be held every Saturday morning unless moved to Sunday morning to accommodate good weather or other events.
Coach Pete will plan the bike workout and upload the Garmin / Zwift files to FB Page and / or this space. Coach Pete may lead you thru some basic functional movements prior to the workout as a warm up. Watch the Club FB page for updates and additional information.
The weekly sessions will start out at about 1 hour and eventually lengthen to about 2 hours by end of March. You can do as much as you want.
These workouts are based on your personal workout zones - either Power or HR or RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion). If you have not done a "baseline" bike test recently, it will be best to use RPE at first. These workouts will be mostly z2 - z3 and will involve climbing in hard gears, spinning in easy gears, short pushes into z4 and z5 and longer steady state intervals.
Note: Your dues pay for the Zoom subscription. So take advantage.
